1989 is my favorite TS album. It has the catchiest lyrics and tune, while it can clearly present its message without giving the urge to skip a song. It is a great classic pop album with perfected tracks. You need to stop driving away sales of the original version because "Scooter owns it". Buy the version you prefer. Taylor is a multi-millionaire.

Taylor will be getting my 5 star rating when she owns her own work. Truly, 1989 is my second favorite album of hers, after Lover, and I cannot wait to see which From The Vault tracks we get to see from her 1989 (Taylor's Version) album! <3

This is my favorite album that Taylor has made. You can see how much she has matured in her song writing. This album definitely has Style. She’s learned to take people’s insults and Shake It Off. She took a Blank Space and filled it with incredible lyrics that really speak to me and others. She’s Out of the Woods and into a Wonderland. These songs were once about her, but now they are about me...and you. This is one incredible album.

Hard to believe that this is a first attempt at pure, official “pop.” This is sleek, glitzy, and timeless. I grew up with the songs from this album playing on radios everywhere. Memories of places I went, people I met, and experiences I’ve had blend in with the music, giving me nostalgic vibes. That’s maybe why I like this record so much. Btw, why does everyone hate Welcome to New York? It’s upbeat, catchy, fun, and has a great production. New Romantics is AWESOME! 💙 this album.
