I always loved ARTPOP. Honestly I don’t understand why people hate on it so much. Maybe because it didn’t have that German dance pop vibe that her first album had. There are so many good songs, Sexx Dreams, MANiCURE, Fashion, Applause. This record is her best, in my opinion.

ARTPOP is not by any means a bad album or even an amazing masterpiece of an album either. It’s somewhere in the middle! It has its highs Applause, DWUW (R.I.P and if you have it downloaded it is one of her songs and I love playing it), G.U.Y, Sexxx Dreams, Gypsy etc. I just feel like it’s all over the place sonically and musically. Although the first four all together aren’t the strongest, they represent the album the most and are interesting. The album has its highs and it’s lows and feels outdated by a long shot but it’s probably the most carefree and fun Gaga album to listen to (It would even be more so if Dope wasn’t on there, but I like the song) ARTPOP is the album you put on to have fun, workout, party and dance to and forget your life problems and it’s okay if it’s just that for the most part!
